The HR Assistant contract role is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are interested in operating virtually and physically in an office environment and have previously worked in high volume, high visibility complex organization. This role will involve direct interaction with clients and administrative work, but also provide an opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments inside and outside HR on various creative and innovative projects.

Job Summary:
Processes and maintains human resources reports, forms and files. Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of general office skills, equipment and HR policies and procedures. Interface and seek advice with human resources operations, specialty areas, Information Services, and Payroll.
Job Responsibilites:
• Performs word processing, completes various type of correspondence, maintains confidential documents and files, and performs periodic auditing and archiving duties.
• May enter HR information and data in the department’s computer system; prepares related reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Answers phones and refers calls to the appropriate resources; answer questions related to human resources.
• Verifies employment, checks references with outside entities; may be required to research the records of former employees.
• Assembles packets and materials for new hires.
• May post current job list openings.
• Receives and processes requisitions.
• Prepares postings and equity information; may assist with advertising job positions.
• Verifies licensure and work eligibility documentation.
• May process insurance cards and forms for new hires and review forms for accuracy and completeness.
Plus:
Advanced excel skills: (detecting patterns, integrating new information, ability to perform v-lookup)
Work Environment: HIGH volume, Partial Virtual / Remote, Partial Physical / On-site
Education:• Two years of general office experience or equivalency;
• Previous experience in a Human Resource office is preferred.
• High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
General Office Experience: 2 years
HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATION: 2 years
