Job Description

The Proposal Writer will collaborate within a team setting to compose, revise, proofread, and address Request for Proposals (RFPs) in accordance with client requirements. This role operates within tight time constraints to fulfill proposal deadlines and is responsible for delivering a response that is top-tier in completeness, accuracy, compliance, and organization. The position demands a substantial level of self-motivation and the capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, strategically planning and coordinating all activities to develop compliant and successful responses.

• Establish project schedules, key milestones, and deliverables to uphold timely completion of all projects.

• Efficiently manage multiple, concurrent projects and deadlines, coordinating information flow from various department contributors to meet established timelines.

• Ensure the document's proper and consistent messaging through proofreading, editing, and rewriting sections as needed.

• Promptly escalate potential issues as necessary.

 

Desired profile:

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred
  • Minimum 6 months to1 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Superior written and grammatical skills
  • Communications or business writing experience preferred
  • Solid background in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills coupled with a collaborative attitude
