Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical System Analyst – Ambulatory to:
- Perform analysis, design, and development of the Epic Ambulatory application and related clinical information systems.
- Participate in planning and implementing projects related to the Information Systems and Applications within the UW Health Information Services department.
- Be responsible for the on-going maintenance, testing and support of clinical systems within UW Health. The position may also assist in directing the strategic plan in the support and evolution of complex systems
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically, learn continuously, ask questions, ensure correct answers, dig deep and make a difference.
Education:
Minimum – Bachelor's Degree (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of)
Preferred – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum – Three (3) years relevant experience
Preferred – Five to seven (5-7) years relevant experience in a Healthcare setting
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred – Clinical applications certification or equivalent

- Ability to acquire and assimilate new knowledge and skills quickly.
- Ability to lead an implementation project.
- Ability to provide appropriate and constructive feedback to other analysts and peers
